“We want to thank our customers for such a quick collection of parcels from post machines – in the pre-holiday period, every free post office box is very important. This allows an even wider circle of our customers to enjoy the shipments as soon as possible. If the Unisend post office to which the package was ordered is still full, we leave it at the next nearest post office in the network. Finally, even with the maximum occupancy of the post machines, our customers will not have to wait outside waiting for parcels to be delivered from the hands of the courier. For the second year in a row, we will offer to pick up parcels without waiting in a warm place, upon arrival at the post office closest to the post machine,” says Deimantė Žebrauskaitė, Head of the Customer Experience Department of Lithuanian Post.

Some branches of the Lithuanian Post Office will work longer in the pre-holiday period precisely so that customers can comfortably pick up Unisend parcels that do not fit in the post machines.

During the peak period, it is noticeable that the more spacious, L and XL size mailboxes are filled particularly quickly. In order to be guaranteed that the post office will not run out of space for your shipment, you can also contact Lithuanian Post customer service specialists. They will tell the customer which mailbox has available boxes closest to their location.
